Today I am at Rio Rancho’s Coffee with a Cop in District 44. Watch to find out more about this neighborhood policing initiative and how police, fire and first responders in Rio Rancho are engaging their community.
Kathleen has supported and will continue to support funding for education in STEM programs through the Balloon Museum. These programs include a robotics camp at the Museum and scholarships for 75 foster kids.
With the state in a water crisis, Rep Cates has proposed legislation that would eliminate nonfunctional turf around government installations, replacing lawns with drought resistant landscaping. Her legislation will help preserve New Mexico’s supply of drinkable water. See KRQE coverage here.
